A: Rapid Prototyping is the process of manufacturing a real working model out of a 3D CAD drawing within a short period of time.

Q: What is the benefit of Rapid Prototyping process?

A: Quick turn-around time, high accuracy and precision, offer the capability to test a product's functionality, fitment, ergonomics before it is mass produce. It also offers low production cost for low volume manufacturing.

Q: What kind of files do you take?

A: We can take STL, IGES, STEP, and other 3D CAD files from major CAD software such as: Pro-Engineer and Solidworks.

Q: How long does it take to create a prototype? How about mass production?

A: It usually takes days to create a prototype but that really depends on how complicated the prototype is. As far as mass production goes, our typical turn around time is around 8 weeks.

Q: How much does it cost to build a prototype?

A: The cost to build a prototype depends on its size and complexity: the bigger and the more complex a part is, the longer it takes to build; thus, the more expensive it costs. The best way to get an estimate is by emailing us your 3D CAD file so we can give you an accurate quote.
